BATTERY SAfETY INfORMATION
To keep your battery pack in the best condition, leave the handset
off the base for a few hours at a time. Running the battery pack
down at least once will help it last as long as possible. The charge
capacity of rechargeable battery pack will reduce with time as it
wears out, giving the handset less talk/standby time. Eventually it will
need to be replaced.
Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
1. Do not dispose of the battery in a fire as it may explode. Check
with local codes for possible special disposal instructions.
2. Do not open or mutilate the battery. Released electrolyte is
corrosive and may cause damage to the eyes and skin. It may be
toxic if swallowed.
Battery
Note: Battery pack and handset may become warm during charging.
This is normal.

3. Exercise care in handling batteries in order not to short the
battery with conducting materials such as rings, bracelets and keys.
The battery or conduction material may overheat and cause burns.
